Honorable Mr. Yunshan, Mr. Jiazheng: Dear distinguished officials and guests: Ladies and Gentlemen: In this blossom May, the 4th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industries Fair is ceremoniously opened today. On behalf of all the sponsors and ICIF organizing committee, I’d like to extend warm welcome and sincere gratitude to all the friends at home and abroad presenting this fair. In this age, culture is the symbol of national spirit representing the whole image of a nation. The cultural industry is becoming an important part of a country’s soft power and the cultural trade has become the focus of competition between different countries. Thanks to the great attention of the central government and the joint efforts of all the parties, China’s cultural industry begins to take shape and cultural trade is developing fast and has become a new growth point of national economy. The 17th National Congress of the CPC made demands of great development and prosperity of culture and this ICIF comes at the right time. As an international fair approved by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry and the important fair listed in Program of cultural development in China’s 11th five-year plan, ICIF’s influence keeps growing at home and abroad. While this ICIF will show all the aspects of the latest achievements of China’s cultural industry development , in the meantime it will also set up a platform of exhibition, trade and communication of cultural products and service for domestic and international cultural enterprises and provide a great opportunity for domestic and foreign traders for marching forward hand in hand and working together for development. The preparation work of this ICIF has gained the highly attention and great care of the central government leaders and great support from the concerned departments of State Council, local government, cultural enterprises, people of various circles and overseas traders. On behalf of the organizing committee, I’d like to express our appreciation once again. I sincerely hope all domestic and foreign traders would return home fruitful and wish the 4th ICIF a complete success. Thank you all! |
